Well, if you’re playing the flute, watch out! You could end up with a real headache - literally. Coughing, nosebleeds and a change in taste are all possible side effects. Plus, you might get nasopharyngitis (inflammation of your throat and nasal passages), an upper respiratory tract infection or sinus inflammation. Stomach discomfort is also common, as is fungal infection of the oropharynx. Yikes! And that’s not all - tremors, palpitations and even voice changes can occur too. Itching and burning sensations are also possible side effects of playing the flute. So be careful out there!
